Wesley Catechism

Wesley Catechism

Every Thursday, from 03/01/2018 to 04/12/2018, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Have you ever wanted to learn the basic Christian ideas
in a simple and easy-to-understand way? Or, have you
ever wanted to learn how we live out these Christian
truths in our lives as United Methodists?  If so, then Wes-
ley Catechism is for you!  The word catechism
simply means teaching – a catechism teaches through
short and understandable questions and answers. This
hour-long class will be led in 6-sessions by Rev.
Ryan Kiblinger, a United Methodist Pastor from Texas and
Doctoral Candidate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity
School   We will cover three sections: the 10
Commandments, the United Methodist Articles of
Religion, and The Lord’s Prayer. All answers are
researched from John Wesley’s (the founder of
Methodism) writings. The wording has been kept as
original as possible so as not to misinterpret Wesley.  But
don’t worry, Pastor Ryan will be there to help
with any questions you have and lead some fantastic dis-
cussions. Also, all materials are downloadable or avail-
able from the Church Office free of charge. We simply
ask you register with the Church Office so you can re-
ceive the materials. If you are looking for an introduction
to Christian thought, United Methodist beliefs, or insights
to help your walk with Christ, this is for you!
