Maundy Thursday April 17 5:30 p.m. Soup Supper communal meal 6:30 p.m. Worship The Thursday preceding Easter gets its name from the “mandatum” or commandment that Jesus gives to the disciples after they have eaten together and he has washed their feet: to love one another, just as he loves them. Our worship will include an opportunity to wash each other’s hands as a sign of our humble service to others and will conclude with Holy Communion, commemorating the Last Supper and celebrating God’s continued presence among us.
